I was so impressed throughout the trip by the work ADRA do! Our trip was such an enriching experience immersed in relationships, culture, history and meaningful opportunities to engage with the community in creating positive change in their lives.

Corporate Trip

Vietnam 2016

If I could summarise our Connections trip into one word, it would have to be relationships. ADRA staff treated us like family, the community welcomed us with open arms and the children smiled at us endlessly.

Epping Church Youth

Cambodia 2016

My worldview changed on my Connections trip…for the better. I no longer value the same things. The status quo, the driving push to succeed, gain wealth, get ahead is completely diminished…there is so much need, so much poverty, so much heartbreak.

University Trip

Timor Leste 2014

Our executive managers participated in a unique leadership trip to Cambodia in 2017. Wow! What an incredible experience not just in leadership but in meaningful community projects that really touched me. I’ve been forever moved by seeing first-hand the basic needs we take for granted, such as access to running water and toilets.

Sanitarium Health Food Company

Cambodia 2017

What I saw and experienced on my Connections trip, was phenomenal. The long-term work ADRA do is really changing lives and making a lasting impact against poverty and injustice, and I want to be part of that, and make my life and my life-work count.

Our students have come back changed. WOW!

Edinburgh College

Vanuatu 2015

I’ve volunteered on many different trips overseas, but never have I experienced anything like I did on our Connections Trip. I think it had a lot to do with the long-term relationships ADRA have established with the local people – they feel their pain, they walk their walk, they become family, working out the struggles together. This was truly inspirational!
